With Christmas now just around the corner GRUB are happy to announce that their award winning  GRUB Food Fair event at their newly opened events space Fairfield Social Club will continue providing smashing grub, cracking DJs and top beer throughout the festive period with plenty of Christmas spirit thrown in.

On top of special mulled wine & cider there will also be the German delicacy ‘feuerzangenbowle’, a flaming super charged version of gluhwein plus Bud Garden Centre will be in attendance on Saturday the 2nd December so you’ll also be able to purchase a beautiful, real Christmas tree. Visitors may also catch the GRUB bar team leading everyone in a festive sing song featuring your favourite Christmas songs.

The Christmas food fairs kick off Friday December 1st and across the festive period you’ll be able to enjoy street food from the best traders in the North including Mac Daddies, Sam Joseph Chocolatiers, Hip Hop Chip Shop, Yes! Doughnuts, The Gravy Train, Whats Your Beef, Yakuamama, Wholesome Junkies, Bake-O-Rama and many more.  All this alongside the usual amazing locally produced beers served from Fairifeld Social Clubs huge, iconic craft beer bar.

Jules Bailey, director of GRUB said “Christmas is a magic time of year and we want everyone to come along to our food fair and get a real dose of proper festive cheer, we reckon we can be a proper alternative to the city centre Christmas Markets, it’ll be a lot more laid back that’s for sure”

About GRUB

GRUB is a street food and drinks events company founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Jason Bailey & Juliana Bailey after a successful run as street food traders themselves.  The focus of the events is always providing an inclusive, festival style atmosphere supported by exceptional food and drink supplied by truly independent producers and chefs.  In addition to this GRUB is committed to assisting and mentoring street food traders in order to support the grass roots food & drink community of Manchester.

Fairfield Social Club is a new permanent events space developed by the team behind GRUB, Manchester’s premier street food event. The purpose of the venue is to support grass roots musical artists and to provide much needed opportunities and space in the city whilst at the same time ensuring top quality food and drink is served. Fairfield Social Club is located at Mayfield, near Piccadilly,  a 24-acre regeneration site which is set to undergo some £850m worth of development over the next 10 years. The regeneration is being delivered by The Mayfield Partnership, comprising specialist regeneration company U+I, Manchester City Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and LCR.
