As part of Manchester Food and Drink Festival, Mayfield Depot is set to turn into a Mexican Fiesta – courtesy of Thomasina Miers and Wahaca.
Thomasina and Wahaca’s Manchester feast will involve a five-course dinner comprising traditional Mexican dishes such as agua chile negro with scallop, bitter orange and habanero; quesadilla with four cheese and forage herbs; salsa verde and seared venison with Tihuana sauce, as well as vegetarian options. On arrival, everyone will be greeted with a glass of Olmeca Altos tequila.
The Mexican themed night will also include a traditional Mexican Festival of the Dead interactive performance, and Day of the Dead Face painting. Music will be provided by a Mexican/Day of the Dead inspired DJ.
